Pellionias are evergreen perennials with a trailing habit with variegated foliage. Mostly grown as indoor plants Pellionias grows well in large pots and they can also be uncontrolled if planted on ground. They grow well in humid places and can be shaped up by pinching the ends of the shoots and by this you can keep the pellionas compact. Pellionias grows well in indirect bright light (semi shade). Leaves burn out if exposed to   direct sun light. You can mist the plant regularly to keep them fresh and healthy.

Pellionias require frequent fertilizer feeding and keep the soil moist at all times. Not much water is needed in winter months. They can easily grow up to 10-12 inches long.

Out of a dozen varieties of Pellionias a few are cultivated regularly for the garden needs and the most popular ones are –

Pellionia Pulchra
